Sprouts are in season. Many of us remember sprouts with dread from being forced to eat them as children. However, I’ve come to like sprouts again and find there are ways to enhance them. Here are a few ideas to inspire your sprouts.
1. Roast them and 5 minutes before the end add a whole load of frozen cranberries and cook these too.
2. Lightly steam your sprouts and mix in pomegranate seeds and segments of mandarin oranges before serving
3. Simple dress once cooked with lemon juice, parsley and a drizzle of olive oil or some grassfed butter.
